Fresh Start Waste Services recently embraced the holiday spirit with a unique Manchester philanthropy event. This was in collaboration with Wood Street Mission, a Manchester-based charity.
The Curry and Pyjamas Day saw employees swapping work attire for cozy pyjamas, parading through the office and participating in a Curry Extravaganza.
The highlight was the staff’s generosity, with an abundance of Christmas gifts donated for families supported by Wood Street Mission, exceeding expectations.
This Manchester philanthropy event is part of Fresh Start Waste Services’ ongoing commitment to supporting the charity, demonstrating corporate responsibility and community engagement.
Wood Street Mission’s CEO Des Lynch expressed gratitude for the donation, stating, “We are incredibly thankful to Fresh Start Waste Services for their generous support. This contribution will make a tangible difference in the lives of many families this Christmas. The partnership with Fresh Start Waste Services exemplifies the positive change that can occur when businesses actively engage with and support their local communities. Thank you Fresh Start Waste!”
Fresh Start Waste Services’ Head of Sales and Marketing, Sean Martins, expressed, “As we draw towards the end of another year of growth here at Fresh Start, we find it fitting to give back to the community that has supported that growth as employees and clients alike.
