Bruntwood Circle Square
Carbon Conscious Fresh Start Waste Services have been further validated as being the collector of choice for Real Estate and Property Management businesses interested in achieving Real Recycling across the North West, as they have partnered with Bruntwood to provide a total waste management solution at Circle Square.
Circle Square, which is a joint venture between Bruntwood SciTech and Vita Group site, is a vibrant new neighbourhood in the heart of Manchester’s innovation district. With a mix of commercial, residential and retail units the estate management team wanted an easy to set up, reliable service from a cost-effective and local operator, who offered an ongoing commitment to excellent service as well as waste reduction and recycling target achievement.
Fresh Start service includes their twin bodied vehicles visiting Circle Square on a scheduled basis to transport pre-segregated recycling and waste items to their local Manchester site for further sorting to maximise recycling levels. All recyclable and non-recyclable materials collected are either recycled or converted into energy from waste right here in the North West to minimise travel and carbon impact and maximise local economy growth.
Sean Martins, Commercial Manager at Fresh Start Waste said “We are proud to be working at the prestigious new neighbourhood, Circle Square and offer support to the estate management team with their waste and recycling strategy. Bruntwood has a true commitment to sustainability across their supply chain and we are thrilled to have been chosen to support them in these endeavours at Circle Square. We have some exciting plans to further reduce the carbon impact of waste produced by the site and look forward to continuing our relationship long-term.”
“Choosing a cost-effective, reliable and environmentally efficient waste partner meant Fresh Start Waste was the obvious choice. Sean Martins, their Commercial Manager, has helped us transition to Fresh Start seamlessly. We have some great ideas to further i.e. reduce waste produced and ensure we are maximising recycling across Circle Square. This includes monthly waste surgeries to allow customers and our operational teams the chance to pop and meet Sean and ask any questions they may have, as well as learn about the latest advancements in waste solutions and encourage culture change to further improve the results of our waste strategy for the neighbourhood.”
