Fresh Start have never shied away from a challenge. That’s why when we heard about BUPA’s Great Manchester Run, we ‘jumped’ at the chance.

Three members of Team Fresh Start have bravely signed up for the race. Director Nicola McGrath and Logistics Administrators Emma Smith and Emma Lavelle are already undergoing a tough training regime ahead of the 10k charity challenge on 20th May 2012.

The run will see our determined trio take on a demanding course through the city centre. You will be able to watch the race as it unfolds live on the BBC- tune in and see if you can spot them!

A record 40,000 people will take part in the event raising money for a host of charitable causes. In this year’s run, Team Fresh Start will be raising money for our nominated charity, Francis House.

Francis House provides care for children and young people with life threatening conditions as well as support and short term rest for their families.

So, how are our Team feeling about the big challenge ahead?

Fresh Start Director Nicola McGrath said “We are all prepared to give it our very best for the Great Manchester Run. It’s all for a great cause and it should be great fun too.”

We hope you will give our Team some motivational support and if you’d like to sponsor our team in the Great Manchester Run visit www.justgiving.com/freshstartwasteservices

Wish us luck!
