Astley-based waste management company Fresh Start Waste Services are hoping to spread a bit of festive cheer this Christmas, after the company and members of staff donated gifts to Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Has he bin yet? . . .
The presents were collected from Fresh Start Waste Services’ depot and delivered directly to the Hospice by none other than Santa Claus himself, just in time for Christmas.
Nicola McGrath, Director at Fresh Start Waste Services, said, “Francis House is a charity that’s very close to our hearts. Everyone at Fresh Start wanted to do something special this Christmas, which can be a particularly difficult time of year for the children and their families.”
As one of Manchester’s leading waste management companies — who provide waste collection, management and recycling services to the trade, industrial and commercial sectors — Fresh Start were keen to get involved with their local charity.
Nicola continues, “We hope that this is just the beginning of our work with Francis House, with more fundraising events planned throughout the year.”
Francis House provides professional care, support and friendship to families whose children have been diagnosed with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions.
