Fresh Start Waste Services are delighted to announce an expansion of their operations into the City of Liverpool.
Based in the North West, we have become one of the UK’s leading independent waste contractors thanks to our drive to innovate. We have been trading for 12 years and have grown significantly during this period, such that we now have over 110 employees and a fleet of 31 vehicles across four sites.
We introduced one of the first commercial seven-days-per-week bin collection services in the North West, as well as pioneering food-only waste routes using cutting-edge wagons that collect multiple streams of waste and recyclable materials.
Moving into the heart of Liverpool is a natural extension of our current routes in Southport, Runcorn and other parts of Merseyside.
With most entertainment and leisure venues being at their busiest over the weekend, our reliable schedules on Saturdays and Sundays will be a great benefit to Liverpool’s legendary pub, club and restaurant scene. Vitally, it means that bins will not be left overflowing until Monday morning, providing a much more pleasant and sanitary environment for workers and the general public alike.
Our orange and blue bins have become a familiar feature in the region, while our distinctive wagons are all named after people close to the business – family, friends, colleagues and even world champion arm wrestler, Agnieska Gorzynska!
Nicola McGrath, CEO is particularly excited by the prospects ahead:
“It’s always an exciting time when you branch out into new territories. Liverpool has been on our radar for a long time now and we are thrilled to finally be rolling out a full service in this great City. We definitely see Liverpool as a key area for us and one that will help enable Fresh Start Waste Services to push further afield in the future.”
Our environmentally friendly collection routes have just got underway in Liverpool, so for more information about Fresh Start Waste Services, or for further press enquiries, please contact us here, or call 0808 178 1966.
