The glass collected is used as the recyclable content in aggregates for road building etc.

Glass represents a very small volume of the waste produced by most commercial premises, but due to its weight it can make a significant contribution to recycling figures. Mixed colour glass can be collected in 240, 660 or 1100 litre wheeled containers.

Fresh Start Cardboard and Paper Recycling
Cardboard recycling can provide colour coded and clearly marked cardboard recycling containers to assist you and your staff in segregating your waste for cardboard recycling keeping it free from contamination.

Container sizes can range from 1100 litre wheeled bins up to 8 Yard. For higher volumes of cardboard recycling, we can supply a range of equipment to enable easier and more cost effective handling of your cardboard for recycling, including mobile and static compactors, and bailing presses which can produce bales of cardboard for recycling weighing from 50-500kgs.

Paper Recycling
Fresh Start provide special office paper recycling bins that are designed for the collection of waste paper for recycling from within the office or work environment. As a guide we usually recommend one office paper recycling bin for every 4 members of staff.

The full bags are put into separate coloured coded wheelie bins and collected regularly for transportation paper recycling processing facility. The sorted and baled paper is then sent to paper mills for recycling.
